DesignSecure™ products represent a
unique line of security papers available
from Simpson Security Papers, Inc. By integrating technology developed in 1871
by George LaMonte & Sons with today's advanced security knowledge, DesignSecure™ offers both covert and overt document protection against the threat of forgery
and counterfeiting.

Our security products are chemically sensitive to a variety of document altering chemicals including polar and non-polar solvents. This feature produces a visible stain or starburst reaction on
the paper when altering chemicals are applied. When bleach or ink eradicators are applied the colored pattern will disappear. DesignSecure™ products also contain “invisible fluorescent fibers” that become visible when viewed under an ultraviolet light source. This feature provides covert protection from counterfeiting because the fibers do not copy or scan and will not be visible in a counterfeit document.

Simpson Security Papers, Inc. unique technology provides cut and paste protection through perfect
front to back registration.

The DesignSecure™ family of products includes seven standard colors: Slate, True Blue, Pink, Tan, Green, Blue and Yellow; and four standard patterns: Basketweave, Straight Line, Wavy Line and Locking "L". Patterns and colors can be customized as needed. Tickets, vouchers, identification cards and passes are only a few of the many uses of DesignSecure™ security papers. The range of basis weights and colorful designs make these security papers well-suited to a variety of end-use applications. They can also incorporate custom patterns and colors using a company's symbol or logotype to add prestige and increased security to documents. DesignSecure™ products provide excellent performance in a variety of printing applications including MICR/OCR, laser, web and sheet fed offset, intaglio, foil stamping and engraving.

These papers are extremely durable and engineered to withstand the rigors of high speed check sorting equipment. They also comply with the ANSI X9.7 standard.
